The world's biggest gathering of young Catholics.
Every few years, hundreds of thousands of young people from across the planet pack their bags, leave home, and travel to a single city to pray, worship and celebrate their faith together — with the Pope himself.
It's called World Youth Day. It was started by St. John Paul II, and in August 2027 it comes to Seoul, South Korea — the first time in Asia since 1995, and the first ever in a country where Christians are a small minority. It's the adventure of a lifetime, and a chance to discover you're part of something far bigger than yourself.

Fourteen days. One unforgettable pilgrimage.
We fly out together on July 27, land in Seoul, and spend our first days with a Korean host diocese — sharing meals, culture, and the faith of Korean youth. Then it's on to Seoul for the main event: six days of World Youth Day alongside young Catholics from every corner of the earth.

Who can come on this pilgrimage?
This pilgrimage is for young adults aged 18–35, travelling together with the Archdiocese of Halifax–Yarmouth. Not sure if you're eligible? Add your name below and we'll let you know.
When is it, exactly?
We travel July 27 to August 9, 2027. World Youth Day itself runs August 3–8 in Seoul; the days before are spent with a Korean host diocese.
How much will it cost?
We're still finalizing the full cost and will share it directly with everyone who signs up. We never want cost to be the reason someone can't come — there's financial help available, and you can ask about it right on the interest form.
How do I save my spot?
Registration runs through 2026 and closes September 30, 2026. A deposit holds your place, and we'll walk you through all the payment details when you register.
Do I need a passport or visa?
Yes — a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond our travel dates, plus a simple Korea travel authorization (K-ETA). We'll walk you through all of it.
Will there be leaders and support?
Always. You'll travel as a group from the Archdiocese with adult leaders, a bilingual guide in Korea, and a 24/7 emergency line.
